Curriculum what to use in Pabelan Islamic High School is mixture between KMI curriculum and National Education curriculum.
The time KMI daily education start from 07.00 to 14.30 ( 8 effective o’clock ), in 6 days during a week. Out time KMI student supported and steeled their matter with activities in the dormitory, like Fiqh about praying, in dormitory student have an opportunity to exercise be muazin ( who calls to prayers ) and imam ( leader of communal prayer ) Ashar or ‘Isya.
KMI curriculum covered all works to actualize aptitude, harmony dan balance of man relationship with Allah, fellow being, him self and him way. Matter given cover Islamic Study ( Qur’an, Hadith, Fiqh, Ushl Fiqh, Ibadah Practice, Aqidah, Akhlak, Islamic History), Language ( Indonesia, Arabic-Imla’, Khat, Conversation, Insya’, Muthala’ah, Nahwu-Sharf, Mahfuzot, Culture History, Balaghah ), Society Knowledge ( Economic, Geographic, History, PPKn, Anthrophology, Sociology, Education, Guidance and Conseling ), and Science Knowledge ( Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Matematics ). This KMI Program given during time 6 years. Automatically KMI curriculum covered MTs Curriculum and MA Curriculum accord with certain from Department of Religious RI.
The all problems as to the students in hand Organization of Student Islamic School ( OPP ). The OPP facilitated by kiai and helped by teachers. In every year at beginning of an organization OPP, always held leadership training as transfer the knowledge, experience and the basic activity for well and right.
All the trace and interest students facilitated with creating the activity suitably. If there more 25 student similary the trace and interest, so that aspiration will followed up with activity and completed by the coach. Example is Theatre, its activity built by the Arts Section, coached by Mr Nindito, from Department of Education Magelang, it followed bt 30 male students, implementable at Friday’s night 21.00 – 22.00 o’clock in library room.
After 6 years education, KMI hold the Micro Teaching Training for 3rd class of High School. It held after National Examination and before announcement of graduate.
Result of training will use as basic for decide who will given mandate to teach in the class, at after year that student do time dedication, and often called as “Ustadz Praktik”.
